MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Entry Requirements 

i) The common regulations for all Masters Degrees in the university and the school of Public Health Shall apply.
ii)A holder of a first degree in the following fields: Medicine (MBCHB), Nursing (BSc.N), Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Dentistry (BDS). OR
iii) A holder of a first degree, first class honors or second class honors (upper division) in the following health related fields: Environmental Health, Nutrition, Health Management, and Community Health. OR
iv) Those with Second Class (Lower Division) may be considered on condition that they have Grade "C" and above in units relevant to their areas of specialization.

Examinations
The master of Public Health (MPH) shall extend over a period of at least 18 months. The degree shall be offered by coursework, examination and thesis.

The degree Master of Public Health (MPH) in specialized areas will be awarded as follows:
MPH - Epidemiology and Disease Control
MPH - Monitoring and Evaluation
